I wish I had read this before everything got turned upside down! When the ex stopped contact, domestic abuse allegations, had me arrested etc I wondered what the hell was going on. Although I have a 'lives with both' order now, this book has helped me to understand what was/is going on in her head. It focuses on Borderline Personality Disorder, Narcissists, and the court process, how to go about it when dealing with an ex with certain traits. Looking back, I made mistakes. I didn't realise how bad and biased the family court system was. I didn't realise that social services and Cafcass back bad mother's, and believe their side of the story.For example, when I raised the ex's mental health with them, they said; "well you would say that". It's American but it tells you how to go about dealing with their version of Cafcass. Hopefully judges an Cafcass read it. Anyway, it might be useful.
