I can completely see your point of view here. Although a contact centre would be fine (and they could also write reports), there is a higher chance your ex would just not turn up or say the child refuses to go. With a person - ie a social worker, collecting the child and supervising the time in the community, your ex would look very bad refusing to let the child go and it could be the worse for her - so she's more likely to let the child go.

I attended my interim hearing today for interim time with my child before the FHDRA in July. At court, nothing happened for the prehearing, which didn't happen. The hearing itself was a waste of everyone's time as the judge , who clearly didnt know the case stated that there would be no interim...

yeah , frosty judge, basically said no interim order so ended before it started...
