Fact finding and occupation order

Hi, I am in court next week for a pre-fact finding and occupation order. Ex is trying to get me kicked out of our jointly owned home so that she can move back in with our child. She has also stopped contact. Any general advice on contesting?

I am still waiting for the ex’s allegations and statement for the house. I have been chasing these for weeks.

You could argue that you have nowhere to live but ultimately the child's best interests is paramount.

I would get your personal belongings out in case you are kicked out. That way your ex won't sell them like mine did!!!

Will I get kicked out immediately or will I have a few days afterwards to move out?

Not sure but it could be straight away - from the day the order is made.
