CAFCASS interview and correcting the officer

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have experience of having to correct a CAFCASS officer during a phone interview?
For example if the officer says inaccurate or false information that came from the ex, about the case, or anything about you directly.

How did you go about correcting the officer during the interview?

So was the inaccuracies something the ex has said?
If so the cafcass officer will just be relaying what is said to them.

Countering the exs falsehoods can be left for a position statement.
So you could say something like "Ms Ex had told the cafcass officer xyz, this information is inaccurate."

It also depends on how serious the lie is.
